Hope you all enjoyed your candy!

We didn't do much of anything for Halloween this year because I'm in the middle of a killa stretch at work and Tony's starting working his 4am shift at work so we're both pretty wiped out. We did have a little date on Friday night which was really nice. We went out to dinner and went to see Life as we Know it. It was really a cute movie and it was nice to spend some time together outside the house.

I can't wait for Thursday to get here so I can work on starting some crafting projects. The magnets for the save the dates should be here this week so I'll have to start playing with ideas for how to attach them to the cards I bought and how to do a little decorating on them. I plan to attach them to the cards because it was the cheapest way I could come up with the envelopes we needed to mail them and I thought it might make things a little sturdier. I bought some stuff to decorate the cards, but now I am kind of rethinking my original vision so I might look for some other stuff this weekend. I also will probably start shopping for beads to make my bridesmaids jewelry. Last weekend in Chicago I found the perfect bracelet to cut apart and make all of us matching bracelets with flowers as the centerpiece. They won't be really big and bold which is good, but now begins the hunt for the pearls and other beads I want for the bracelets. It's also time to start working on the Christmas presents I was going to start on last night until I realized I don't have any white fabric. I'm making snowman wall hangings and that's a little difficult to do with no white! I have all the rest of the stuff I need, just somehow forgot that one small thing last time I was at Jo

Well I was very excited to turn on the Blackberry this morning and have a nice little email from VistaPrint saying my Save the Dates shipped early! Hooray! They will be here on Tuesday. I'm so excited to see them in person. :)
We've mailed the deposit for the DJ last week and now we're working on the photography stuff. I have the contract and I've just been debating on the amount of time and trying to figure out the timeline for everything to happen. We are getting married at 1pm and Tony doesn't want our guests to have to wait around for a long time, but I just don't know how else to do it without eating super early.
We've also been trying to set up our meeting with our priest and I'm still waiting to hear back on that. Hopefully we can set something up next week so we can make some more appointments while we will be home for the day.

On a totally NWR note, work has been absolutely crazy this week with training a new pharmacist and one of my partners being on vacation. Plus it's the end of the month which means everyone thinks they need their meds NOW! She's making me work 10 days in a row and I think she finally realized today that she kinda screwed me over because she brought cider and doughnuts to work today. But that doesn't really make it all better or easier to get thru the next 5 days until I get my

We booked our DJ and got the cake baker set up today :) We have the contract for the DJ and will be sending in the deposit this week. Now we just have to look for cake pictures to figure out what design we want. I already have some ideas in mind, but have to pass them by Tony. I really want white on white for frosting, not sure what flavors but probably nothing too fancy.

Right now, I feel like my creative juices are drained. I really really really want to start crafting, but it is SERIOUSLY too early and I really don't have the space to store things. But mom keeps telling me about things that are on sale or that she saw in the store, and I'm really addicted to the knot so I keep seeing things I want to try. I probably should focus more on the important things, like the DJ, the cake, and the flowers but I just want to do my craft projects. I guess I need to find something to make for Christmas presents. And maybe some jewelry or something. That's small and easier to store haha

We got our pictures back tonight! So excited :) and we ordered our STDs tonight! Now just gotta wait 3 weeks to get them back hahaha
The one below is my favorite picture

After our little fiasco a couple weeks ago with a photographer that didn't show up, we asked Tony's sister Sam to take our pictures. We had a great time yesterday and I can't wait to see the pictures. Sam said they turned out really well and she's working on photoshopping them for us and we should have them back by the end of the week! Hooray :)

I'm so glad things finally seem to be coming together on all the plans. We are all set up for the church class for engaged couples, the photographer is *mostly* set, the reception site is taken care of

So I realize that no one will probably read this, but I am thinking that since we're only in the beginnings of the planning stage, I'll need to vent my frustrations and shout my ideas. This seems to me like the perfect place to do it, especially since my FMIL is being semi-difficult about some of the things I have already brought up as ideas. I can be in my own little wedding world and no one else has to hear about it!

On that note, I am seriously DYING to start my DIY projects, but I won't have enough space to store all of them for a year. And I'll probably change my mind about a million times before the actual wedding so for now, I
